Dr. Dennis Chernin has practiced and taught meditation, breathing, and mantra techniques for over 30 years, drawing from lineages in the Himalayan Mountains. A holistic and family medicine practitioner in Ann Arbor, he integrates his medical background, public health work, and decades of chanting experience into leading uplifting kirtan.

Matthew Pancone has been a dedicated kirtan leader and musician for multiple groups over many years. Blending traditional chant practices with a deep devotion to community music-making, he serves as a vital anchor for collective mantra meditation on vocals, harmonium, and sound engineering.

John Churchville is a Grammy Award-winning tabla artist, performer, and composer with over two decades of dedication to Indian classical and world music. A specialist in tabla, drum set, and percussion, he has performed worldwide and earned a Detroit Music Award for Joty Drums alongside two GRAMMY Music Educator Award nominations.
