Ann Arbor Kirtan Events Schedule
The monthly kirtans are free to all ages of the public. A donation of five dollars to help cover expenses is greatly appreciated. Enjoy an hour and fifty minutes of chanting, a brief silent meditation, and community satsang. Bring a cushion or blanket to sit comfortably on the carpet; chairs or pews are also available. The facility is wheel chair accessible and public bathrooms are available.

One Peace Celebrating United Nations International Day of Peace Ann Arbor Kirtan has been invited to play during the pre-program for the free One Peace event in Ypsilanti Michigan. One Peace is a multi-ethnic, large scale meditation and dialogue to be held September 21, the United Nations International Day of Peace. Held at the Eastern Michigan Convocation Center, the event is expected to attract up to 10,000 people from the Detroit metropolitan area and across the country. It will be hosted by an interfaith, non-partisan coalition of local, regional and nationwide organizations in collaboration with Sarvodaya USA. Go here to learn more. 2008 Annual Holiday Kirtan Holiday Gathering & Monthly Public Kirtan Please join us in celebrating the past year of Ann Arbor Kirtan gatherings, and usher in the holiday season with the time honored tradition of kirtan. The event will begin with a social hour where we ask community members to bring a healthy snack or dessert to share. Chai and a selection of teas will be provided. It'll be a great opportunity to meet and connect with each other as members of a growing community of chanters!
