  • In addition to our regular monthly kirtans we hold a kirtan on the first Wednesday of each month. The First Wednesday Kirtan is also free and offers a slightly more intimate setting than our regular monthly kirtan. The evening will begin with a brief puja with introductory mantras, the lights will be dimmed, only the vocals will be amplified, and there will be fewer but longer chants to help fully immerse us in the practice.

Amma Center Michigan

The Amma Center Michigan offers satsang programs open to the public. A typical satsang program includes chanting, meditation, devotional singing, and various service projects.
Ann Arbor: Every Saturday 3 pm - 5 pm
Detroit: 1st Thursday each month 7 pm - 9 pm
Gaylord: Every other Saturday 7 pm

Bhakti Yoga Society @ University of Michigan

The Bhakti Yoga Society is a recognized student group at the University of Michian. They hold weekly bhakti yoga meetings and kirtans on Wednesdays from 5pm - 7pm in the Pond Room at the Michigan Union in Ann Arbor. See their Facebook Group for meeting updates.

ISKCON Temple of Detroit Sunday Kirtan

Inspired by the spiritual teachings of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Alfred Brush Ford (great-grandson of Henry Ford) and Elisabeth Reuther Dickmeyer (daughter of United Auto workers President, Walter Reuther) jointly purchased the Fisher Estate in 1975 as the site for the Bhaktivendanta Cultural Center. There is an evening program every Sunday at 4:15pm which includes kirtans followed by the Grand Prasadam Feast.

Lansing Kirtan

Come feel the power of kirtan! This is a start-up group. We will be learning and growing together in our understanding of this meditation practice. Located at 2722 E. Michigan, Suite 101 Lansing, Michigan. Sponored by Fellowship For Today and India Heritage Foundation.

Siddha Yoga Meditation Center of Ann Arbor

The Siddha Yoga Meditation Center of Ann Arbor has weekly programs of chanting and meditation each Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. The Guru Gita is chanted each Sunday starting at 9:00 AM. The center is located at 3820 Packard Road, Suite 280 Ann Arbor, MI 48108.
