Transliteration

Commentary
Ganapathi is the South Indian name for Ganesha, the elephant headed son of Shiva and Parvathi. Ganapathi is considered to be the over-comer of obstacles. Traditional music and dance programs start with an invocation to Ganapathi. The words in this chant simply mean 'in the name of Ganapathi'.
